How to Get Started?
Call (800) 487-4042 to be routed to your nearest DRS Office!
Step One:
You’ll need to locate the nearest DRS office to you. You can do this by calling (800) 487-4047, or by clicking below to go to the DRS website.
Step Two:
Call your local DRS office and ask to set up an appointment for Vocational Rehabilitation. Make sure you take notes, so you can remember everything you will need to get started!
Step Three:
If you can, go ahead and fill out an application. Bring the following with you to expedite the process and make it much easier! Don’t worry if you don’t have everything.
- Medical Records and/or documents verifying the disabling condition(s)
- Copy of Academic Transcripts
- Social Security Card
- State ID/Driver’s License
- Medical Insurance Information
- Immigration Status Documents (If not a US citizen)
